Choose from among 72 varieties
of loose leaf teas ranging from delicate white teas, medium-bodied green teas to
robust black teas from exotic locales around the world. Decaf teas, herbal teas and
tisanes are also on the menu. If caffeine is a problem for you, we can
decaf
any tea you select.
Afternoon Tea at Jacqueline's Tea Room starts with the selection of your first pot of tea. If you are unsure which of the 72 teas would suit, the hostess will be happy to enumerate on the properties of various teas, or she will select a tea for you based on your preferences. Once your tea is poured, relax as the hostess brings your first course, a savory soup. (Winter months only.) Each of the four courses has been selected and prepared by Jacqueline, allowing you to focus on the tea and your companion. The meal comes with Devon Cream, Lemon Curd and a fruit jam for spreading on delectable scones. There is also an assortment of delicate finger sandwiches and always special desserts. For the final course, home-made sorbet is served in beautiful crystal goblets (Summer months only.) While here, tea is never in short supply. Whenever your pot of tea is empty, a simple signal will tell the server to approach your table to ask for your next selection of tea. Jacqueline's Tea Room is by reservation only. What this means to you is there is never another group waiting for your table. No need to rush, take the full two hours to enjoy your Queen's Tea and the delightful companionship of your family and friends.

three separate rooms, each with a gas fireplace, crystal chandeliers and
fine bone china. The atmosphere is perfect for a cozy
tête-à-tête,
an intimate anniversary date, or larger parties such as book groups,
bridal showers, baby showers and professional
lunch meetings, to name a few. These three rooms , The
Royal Doulton, The Royal Albert and The Royal Winton, accommodate a
total of

Jacqueline's Tea Room carries a fine collection of teas, which may be purchased for home and gifts. There are hundreds of pretty items of teaware for sale to accompany the teas! Linens for gift-giving, scented lotions, soaps and perfumes from select purveyors are on display. A variety of books, journals, greeting and note cards are also available. Charming hair clips, jewelry and jewelry organizers make delightful gifts for the young girls. And for the new arrivals, we carry blankets, adorable crocheted animals, children's books and much more!
